Freedom 55 Financial

Sarah Richter

Financial Security Advisor

Sarah Richter I work directly with families and businesses offering clarification and resolutions to life, health and wealth concerns.

A firm believer in giving time to my community I have volunteered at several M & M barbeques. I continue to spend my time working actively for charitable organizations and am a member of the York Region Crohn's and Colitis Foundation, and have recently partnered with Robbie'S Rainbow; starting a chapter in Georgina that I hope will grow with the infusion and support of a new peer group currently under development in the community.

My son was diagnosed with Crohn's at the age of 8 and after 9 years of trial and error he is currently using Remicade to control this disease. We had focused our fundraising efforts to walking in the "Heel-N Wheel- A- Thon" now known as the "Gutsy Walk" for the last 7 years. When Sick Kids turned our attention to Robbie's Rainbow last year our lives were changed; not just by the generosity of Kate and her family but their empathetic approach and genuine concern for his well being.

I understand first hand the need that Robbie's Rainbow supports and my hope is that the information I provide will help reduce the financial stress that occurs when you have a child with a critical illness and no immediate financial solutions.
